• Recycle all that we can
• Encourage the use of totes to carry products in
• Re-use shopping bags
• Heat water with second hand energy from our milk cooling unit
• We DO NOT use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides on our fields
• Let the cow's eat the grass= less tractor usage on some fields= less emisions into air &        less manure to spread 
• Use Fly Predators , instead of excessive chemicals (the predators eat the fly larva)

Rotational Grazing at Deerfield Farm

At Deerfield Farm we are taking grazing our cows to the next level.  Our fencing is up and the cows are now out on new pasture.  Rotating them each day to a new pasture is working out well.
